This rope is used in many standard elevators and has a proven history both in Europe and many other countries worldwide. Because of the dual tensile grade of the wires in the strands, this type may be used on softer traction sheaves. Thus, the hardness ratio rope/sheave is shifted towards the sheave.
Particularly for North America, you will find an even lower tensile grade of just 1180 N/mm2 outer strand hardness.
