STEP Smartcom II main processor has Dual 32 bit ARM Processor Power and an independent CPLD to ensure safe, smooth operation which meets EN81, CSA-B44-2004 and ASME A17-2004 safety codes.
Distance feedback pattern generation with a resolution of less than 1mm ensures a continually monitored and corrrected "direct to floor" speed profile already installed on 1200 fpm (6m/s) installations.
The versatile Smartcom II main processor is totally field programmable, this one board generic approach will reduce expensive inventory and downtime.CANBUS ensures safe and reliable communication with a two twisted pairs to connect hall calls and fixtures.
No matter how many floors a 4 twisted pair, 24 signal wires and 3 wires for the fan and light are all the travelling cables required.
Available as a standalone duplex or with the optional group control board the Smartcom II will control up to 8 cars and 48 floors. Front and rear configurations are included in the standard package. The two cabinet design allows for easy accesst othe machine roorm.
